The game seems a bit unapproachable at $49, but man, it's a great ride! Once you've been sucked in, you'll be cool with the $50 purchase. The game will deceive you early on into thinking it's some sort of physics tech demo, but you will learn quickly that there are many MANY levels that will challenge you. Everything is there - even an editor to make your own levels! Share them with friends. The 'one more game' feeling will keep you playing long into the night and the medal system will keep you going back for perfection. This COULD be the killer app ...

I agree that the $49.99 MSRP is a bit hard to swallow, but once you get into the game, it will be worth it. The single player mode is solid, with fun and challenging puzzles. The multiplayer is a blast, and where the game really takes off IMO. Good variety in the levels with different ways of destroying the block formations. The background music soundtrack is quirky and fun.I HIGHLY recommend this game. It's great to see such a quality 3rd party title.

This game came out of no where of not being on my radar to being one of the surprise hits of the year for me so far. A fantastic "puzzle" game that could only 'properly' be done on the Wii. It is one of those kinds of games that I've been wishing the Wii had more of in its library and everything about it really drives home here. $49.99 is pushing it but if you can snag it for $39 be prepared for a good, addictive time that you, and even your significant female other can have a blast playing. Graphics whores need not apply, Boom Blox is all about the awesome original gameplay. Highly recommended.

I have been dissapointed in this game. The first few levels are great and fun, but the further you get the worse the controls become. There seems to be little control on how hard you can throw, and the "Jenga" style levels are nearly impossible. This is a fun rental, but is nowhere near worth a purchase.
